The West Virginia Annual (regional) Conference, the state Council of Churches and the United Methodist Foundation of West Virginia have established a Montcoal Mine Disaster Fund. Some $17,000 has already been received in this fund to be divided among the families of the 29 miners who died and the two who survived. Visit http://www.wvcc.org/ for details.
